The Vision

Windley partnered with District Group to build Cascara Phase 2, adding two four-storey residential buildings with 130 suites atop a shared underground parkade. To minimize disruption to Phase 1 residents, we maintained access to existing buildings and parking while fencing off the Phase 2 site and adhering to local work schedules.

Regular communication with residents and stakeholders ensured smooth progress. As general contractor, we coordinated multiple trades, fostering strong partnerships to maintain seamless workflow. Weekly meetings kept the project on schedule and addressed issues promptly.

The Results

Successfully maintained full access to the existing Phase 1 buildings and parking facilities throughout construction, ensuring minimal disruption for residents.

Managed site limitations by leasing adjacent land for equipment and material storage, enabling efficient construction on a constrained site.
