Highway 6 – Grey Rd to Ricardo Rd

In order to address a significant history of vehicle accidents along a section of Highway 6 in Coldstream east of Vernon, BC the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has elected to realign the old highway.

This project includes 2.3 km of highway realignment, intersection improvements, fish bearing Coldstream Creek enhancements, a 14′ wide highway underpass, and utility system works including a pressure reducing station building. Construction is scheduled to start November 2012 with completion late Fall 2013.
