McMillan Street Upgrade

The site is a 4 block urban arterial route in the downtown center of Parksville.

The upgrades include all underground infrastructures, surface works, new traffic and pedestrian controls, and landscaping. The scope of work for this project was challenging due to the level of high density vehicle and pedestrian traffic as well as attempting to minimal disruption to the commercial enterprises in the area.

Windley Contracting Ltd. utilized its new resources of pre-construction planning for Health and Safety and Traffic Management issues for construction work to attempt to lessen the amount of public disruption. Through the hard work and efforts of all project staff and associates, the project was completed successfully and received generous praise from the public.
