VIU Faculty of Management

Windley Contracting teamed up with Chow Fleischauer Low Architects in this Design/Build Project known as the Faculty of Management building (Building 250) at the Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo. The 36,000 square foot building is a mix of instructional space and faculty offices.

It contains the most technologically advanced lecture theater on the campus with wireless accessibility and fully integrated sound and video projection capabilities. The building is situated on a dramatic hillside location with a modern architectural design.

Additionally, the building is also the most environmentally friendly structure on campus and is LEED Certified. In 2008, the building won the VIREB Commercial Building Award of Merit and, today, is still a prominent structure on the VIU campus.

80% of the building has access to natural daylight and views!
